Shooters World 50 BMG Powder Overview

This.50 Browning cartridge is best used with Shooters World 50 BMG D100-01 Smokeless Gun Powder, which has a medium-slow burn rate, high density, double base, ball propellant. Double base powders have an additional energetic component in the form of nitroglycerin (8-23%, typically found in conjunction with the nitrocellulose). Similar to the single base powders, they also include a trace amount of stabilizers or other additives. As compared to single base powders, double base powders have a larger energetic value and superior ballistic performance.
